Sewing Table in Rosewood by Severin Hansen for Haslev Furniture Carpentry, 1950s

A charming side/crafting table by Severin Hansen Jr. For Haslev Møbelfabrik. It features a large sliding basket underneath for storing yarn or thread. It also has a drawer that slides out from the front of the piece for storing needles, thread, or accessories. It can easily be used as a side table or bedside table. The rosewood of the table is truly beautiful and showcases an amazing and interesting grain pattern. The table has solid tapered triangular legs that connect to the top. This piece would be a unique addition to any modern environment. The table has been inspected and fully restored by our well-trained Danish carpenter, so it is in excellent condition.
