Authentic antique trade counter / cash register, equipped with a genuine AMAX cash drawer signed by André Ray, Lyon. This piece retains all the character of its professional use: two large front drawers, one of which is a compartmentalised cash drawer, metal shell handles, a beautiful wooden structure, and a fully dressed back, allowing it to be placed against a wall or in the centre of a room or shop. The original marking "Tiroirs-Caisse de sûreté AMAX – André Ray – Lyon" is still clearly visible inside the drawer. A particularly charming detail: the cash drawer still makes a sound upon opening, just like in the past. Its original mechanism fully contributes to the authenticity and charm of this piece of furniture.
