Antique chair, armchair from the late 19th century.
Very beautiful antique low chair known as a nursing chair. It was once used to feed children and to be at their height; it was also used as a low chair to fully enjoy the warmth of the hearth. The structure is made of turned wood painted black, with small functional wheels on each leg for easy mobility. The seat is padded without springs (it sinks a bit when sitting) and is covered with a beige caramel hessian fabric featuring white floral patterns, with matching trims and pom-poms. Seat height is 31 cm. Solid and stable. A beautiful authentic piece to use as extra seating or for decoration. One of the shop's favourites. A similar model is available (last photo) with the possibility of creating a set.
