Pair of two-armed wall lights in gilded bronze, Louis XV style, by Lucien Gau.

Pair of wall lights from the second half of the 20th century in Louis XV style, made of solid bronze with a gilded patina, old gold, featuring a floral decoration. The mark of the bronzier Lucien Gau "L.G." is visible on the back of one of the two. There is some oxidation of the gilding on the bobeches, as shown in the photos. The cardboard socket covers show some marks. The original socket covers and lampshades are in very good general condition, with only a few very light marks on the lampshades. They use small E14 screw base bulbs. The old electrical system is functional (tested). Dimensions: without the lampshades, 20cm wide, 25cm high (without the bulbs!) and 9cm deep; with the lampshades (which are 7cm in diameter at the top, 9cm at the bottom, and 9cm high): 23cm wide, 33cm high, and approximately 12cm deep. Weight: 1.8kg without packaging.
