Modern painting signed Ugo Gheduzzi, view of the village, 20th century.

Oil on cardboard. Signed at the bottom right. Gheduzzi was mainly known for his work as a set designer at the Teatro Regio in Turin, but he also established himself as a landscape painter, painting en plein air in the style of the Rivara school, a Piedmontese imitator of the more famous Barbizon landscape school. This view of a countryside village, illuminated by the rosy reflections of the sky at sunset, exudes a captivating atmosphere. The work is presented in a carved and gilded wooden frame, with some minor losses.
