French landscape, oil on canvas signed Louis Garry 1915

The painting is signed and dated 1915 by the French artist Louis Garry. Garry primarily worked in France, depicting bucolic scenes from the Massif Central, Auvergne, and landscapes from the south of France. The architecture of the farmhouses — characterised by low-pitched tiled roofs, rendered stone walls, and a prominent square tower serving as a dovecote — unmistakably places the work in the countryside of central-southern France. Dimensions with frame 61cm X 53cm. Without frame 34cm X 56cm. Careful shipping. No global relay please.
