Louis XV style desk in marquetry - 19th century

Superb flat desk in rosewood and walnut veneer from the 19th century in Louis XV style. A desk of beautiful quality with an uncommon size, as a length of 1.32m is the ideal size for a workspace without being too large. Double-sided decoration, top with a galleried edge, veneered surround. The desk is adorned with magnificent high-quality bronze fittings. The top is covered in leather bordered with gilding (worn). Three drawers without crossbars, curved legs ending in bronze sabot feet. The drawers come with their functioning key. It has been re-polished in our workshops and has a superb patina. In magnificent condition, with signs of use and maintenance restorations.
