Wallendorf vase 2160 by Hans Merz and Heinz Werner, 1963-1964

Elegant vintage vase in Wallendorf porcelain, model 2160. Its slender and slightly faceted shape was created by Hans Merz in 1963. The hand-painted purple decoration on glaze was designed by Heinz Werner in 1964. The stylised floral patterns, arranged vertically on the white porcelain, highlight the sculptural silhouette of the vase. A very beautiful piece of German modernity from the 1960s. Under the base are the Wallendorf mark with crown, "W 1764", "Germany" and "handgemalt", as well as the model number 2160 in relief. Dimensions: Height: approximately 26.5 cm. Maximum diameter: approximately 11.5 cm. Weight: approximately 456 g. Original vintage piece in German porcelain. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or restoration. The hand-painted decoration is very well preserved.
