Superb XL vase, an antique fine earthenware jug, decorated with the "Poppies" motif, one of the emblematic floral designs of the Onnaing pottery from the early 20th century. Its large, stylized carmine-red flowers, printed using transferware, bloom on a generous body typical of Belle Époque wash sets. The ample silhouette, scalloped neck, and elegant handle give this jug a timeless charm. Today, it makes a remarkable decorative piece: an XL vase for seasonal bouquets, a sculptural object on a console table, or a poetic centerpiece. Stamped Onnaing: The red "Made in France – Poppies" stamp dates this jug to between 1910 and 1930, the factory's peak period. Vintage condition, with typical glaze cracks and some discreet signs of wear. A few hairline cracks at the spout and neck, and one at the base near the handle (see photos). Height: 27 cm, diameter at widest point: 19 cm Perfect for a romantic revival-inspired interior with vintage floral motifs.
