Italian Desk lamp 1950 brass and glass

Italian desk lamp Fontana Arte style , similar to the lighting designs of Pietro Chiesa, circa 1940-1950. The patina of the brass and the color of the glass attest to its age. Brass stem and tilting shade with their period patina. Oval-shaped base in transparent sea green glass. A solid and stable model. Bayonet socket, the electrical wiring, and the switch have been replaced. The lamp is in good overall condition, with no dents or deformation on the brass, and no chips on the glass. A patina due to age on the brass, with some micro-smudges; it could be made to shine brighter. Some scratches under the glass base, more or less visible depending on the light. See last photo.
