No chips. Perfect glazing. Lisa Larson studied at the renowned Slöjdföreningens Skola in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she specialised in ceramics. In 1954, she was hired by Stig Lindberg, the artistic director of the Gustavsberg factory, marking the beginning of her career. After leaving Gustavsberg in 1980, Lisa Larson founded her own studio in the former buildings of the factory, where she continues to produce her iconic series. Gustavsberg was founded in 1825 on a former royal estate near Stockholm, Sweden. The factory initially produced fine porcelain, and it was between 1940 and 1970 that Gustavsberg entered its artistic golden age with Stig Lindberg as artistic director and through collaborations with major designers of Swedish modernism.
