Overview. Rare, small Art Deco stool circa 1930s. Sculptural X-shaped rosewood veneer base with a round padded seat. Ideal as an occasional seat or decorative accent. Materials. Rosewood veneer over softwood; oak veneer noted on the underside. Newly upholstered in beige quilted fabric with keder. Restoration. Restored and hand-polished with shellac. Reupholstered and refinished; patina consistent with age and use. Dimensions. Height: 45 cm. Width: 45 cm. Depth: 38 cm. Origin.
