Biedermeier sewing worktable in mahogany, 1850

An elegant Biedermeier sewing work table crafted in richly figured mahogany and decorated with fine marquetry inlay, dating from around 1840–1850. The hinged top reveals a beautifully organized interior fitted with multiple compartments and small lidded boxes for sewing accessories. Raised on a graceful lyre-form pedestal base, the piece has been professionally restored in our workshop and finished with a traditional hand-applied shellac polish, preserving its original character and warm patina. An exceptional collector's piece combining refined craftsmanship with practical functionality.
