This very beautiful and large service including a large pitcher and 12 glasses in enameled turned stoneware, perhaps puisaye stoneware, would originally have been a cider service. It would date from 1973, a wedding gift given to the person from whom I found it. The different elements have simple and elegant lines, and pretty mixed colors, ecru, beige, ochre, caramel... The stoneware is enameled with a thin milky layer, sometimes even absent in places, on the bases in particular, which gives it a raw, very natural, rough appearance in places, and which makes each element different from the others. This service is in very good condition, it has lasted 50 years with almost no damage! Indeed, apart from a single cup which has a chip (see last photo), the rest is intact, no cracks, not even a chip. If you don't want to keep the damaged cup, let me know, I will find it a new life in a pot for a small succulent, or I can also add this small plant in the package; ) the pitcher measures 23 cm in height, 17.5 cm in width from the spout to the handle, 12.5 cm in diameter at the base. The glasses measure approximately 7 cm in diameter for a height of 8.5 cm.
