Antique Napoleon III desk in blackened wood and leather – Late 19th century

I am selling this set consisting of an antique desk and its matching chair. Condition of the desk: The desk is in good overall condition considering its age. It shows signs of wear related to time (see photos) as well as some marks that may suggest a previous woodworm attack, to be confirmed. It is very stable and sturdy. The two extensions show slight swelling, probably due to humidity. However, they remain functional and slide normally to be stored under the tabletop. Condition of the chair: The chair is more worn and has a crack. It remains stable, but some fragility is noticeable. I am therefore including it for free in the lot, as I would find it a shame to separate these two pieces that go together. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like more information. I am open to price proposals. My main wish is for this desk to find a second life with someone who will appreciate it and restore its charm.
