Double-sided flat desk in Louis XVI style, made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, with a top covered in genuine leather with a gold decoration. Very beautiful traditional craftsmanship, with fluted and turned legs, rich carved decoration, and fine finishes on all sides. The desk can thus be placed in the centre of a room. It features 5 functional drawers as well as 2 side pull-outs. The drawers have a traditional dovetail construction and are equipped with brass locks. Keys are included. The leather is adorned with a gold frieze around its edge. Very nice patina of the wood and particularly decorative grain. Dimensions: 140 cm wide × 80 cm deep × 74 cm high. Overall good condition, with slight signs of use and age consistent with its antiquity. The desk is solid, stable, and perfectly usable. A very beautiful decorative piece, ideal as an executive desk, library desk, or character piece in a classic interior.
