Germany / 1900 / 2 Vases / August & Conrad Bauscher / Porcelain Factory Weiden Bros / Porcelain and Polychrome / Empire An elegant pair of signed porcelain vases from the esteemed Porcelain Factory Weiden Bros, crafted in Germany around 1900 under the direction of August and Conrad Bauscher specialized in hotel porcelain. These richly decorated Empire-style vessels exemplify the refined taste and technical mastery of turn-of-the-century German porcelain. Each vase features a cobalt blue ground adorned with classical polychrome reliefs, framed by vertical panels in red and gold. Sculptural winged female figures serve as handles, their white faces and gilded wings lending a dramatic neoclassical flair. The composition is both architectural and ornamental, with finely painted motifs and gilt accents enhancing the symmetry and grandeur of the design. Excellent antique condition with minimal signs of age. Both pieces signed and numbered to the base. A rare and distinguished ensemble for collectors of European porcelain and Empire revival decorative arts.
