Renaissance decorated earthenware amphora vase from Gien

Amphora-shaped vase in Gien earthenware, Renaissance decor. Typical decoration with scrolls, putti, fantastic creatures, and Italian inspirations, painted in the tradition of the great decorative productions of the manufacture. Its shape and decor make it a very decorative piece. Overall good condition, with a small chip at the bottom of the base. Another vase with the same decor is available in my shop (see last photo).
