19th century antique Primitive mountain chair

Traditional antique mountain chair from southern Germany. This characteristic and primitive chair is entirely handmade and assembled with mortise and tenon joints. This example is made of pine wood and was once painted in an ochre/orange colour. The old paint is worn in many places, giving the chair a beautiful patina. Minimal signs of use can be observed, such as some old woodworm holes scattered throughout. These have of course been checked and treated. The chair is sturdy and suitable for daily use. The dating is around 1800-1850. Seat height 45cm, back height 88cm, width 40cm, depth 38cm. This item must be collected. Or inquire without obligation for delivery costs.
