19th century antique painted primitive mountain chairs

These two antique mountain chairs are a beautiful example of traditional South German craftsmanship from the early 19th century. The chairs are made of solid pine wood and are entirely constructed with mortise and tenon joints. The chairs feature an old ochre yellow paint layer, which has characteristically worn away over time. This natural patina gives the chairs a unique, warm appearance and emphasizes their authenticity. The chairs have recently been carefully checked and are sturdy, stable, and ready for daily use. Old, sporadically present woodworm traces have been checked and treated.
