Louis XVI mahogany cylinder desk

Small cylinder desk in mahogany with brass inlays, topped with a display case opening with two doors. It is crowned with a white Carrara marble enhanced by a gallery in pierced brass. It rests on four tapered legs with hooves. The opening of the cylinder reveals a sliding tray covered in leather (not replaced) and three aligned drawers. There are three additional false drawers when the pull-out is opened. The desk also has two drawers under the cylinder that close. Early 19th century, Louis XVI style.
