Ceramic monkey

This little monkey, also called "monkey of the great guard", is one of the most emblematic symbols of the Belgian city of Mons, with the doudou. It is a real tourist attraction, since this little animal would bring luck to anyone who strokes its head with the left hand. Ceramic statuette. Height 14cm. Excellent condition.
