Terracotta sculpture of a nude woman seated 1970

This terracotta sculpture with a strong character from the 1970s exudes calm, introspection, and timeless elegance. The seated female figure is simply and powerfully sculpted, with a natural posture and subtle anatomical lines. The unglazed terracotta surface features a warm earth tone and a slightly rough texture, giving the sculpture an authentic and artisanal character. The sculpture is clearly hand-shaped and breathes the free and expressive style characteristic of 1970s ceramic art. Small irregularities and marks from the manufacturing process enhance its unique appearance and make each piece personal and singular. A particularly decorative object that fits well in modern and eclectic interiors — stunning on a pedestal, a sideboard, or in an open display case. • Material: terracotta • Period: 1970s • Style: figurative / artistic • Colour: warm earth tone • Condition: good vintage condition, with slight age-appropriate marks consistent with the material.
