Pair of small side tables or bedside tables from the Napoléon III period, finely crafted in walnut. Each piece features a drawer in the apron and a front door adorned with a rich sculpted decoration of scrolls. The supports are enhanced with twisted columns, typical of the Renaissance style revisited in the 19th century. They rest on turned feet and exhibit a beautiful quality of craftsmanship. The tops are made of veined black marble, providing a refined contrast with the warmth of the wood. The upper parts are topped with a sculpted step with a small openwork pediment and central shelf, adding charm and verticality to the whole. Beautiful bronze fittings (lock entries and handles). A cohesive and decorative set, suitable for use as bedside tables, accent furniture, or narrow consoles. Dimensions: Height: 141 cm. Width: 46 cm. Depth: 38 cm. Condition: Good overall condition.
