Pair of Large William IV Side Cabinets 1830 in Flame Mahogany with Drawers

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb pair of very rare oversized original side cabinets from the William IV era, featuring hairy lion paw feet. These pieces are exquisite, very tall, with the most remarkable luxury cuts in flame mahogany. The feet are hairy lion claws in a 17th-century style, absolutely stunning. The left cabinet includes five country-style drawers, the bottom is designed to hold bottles and wine, and one drawer is lined with green felt typically used for cutlery. The right cabinet consists of open shelves, including the top drawer, which is actually a false front with a deceptive handle. The pieces have been cleaned, waxed, and fully polished and will show signs of wear consistent with their age of over 190 years.
