Tableau hst 19th century animated landscape (Camargue - guardian?) signed

Old painting executed in oil on canvas framed, depicting a landscape with a river, a couple, and a bull, with a village with tiled roofs in the background. Signed but difficult to decipher (research needed), with pencil annotations on the back of the frame, dating from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. As indicated in the photos, this work has two discreet restorations - see photos, which are contractual. The frame is included but shows significant wear and is likely to be replaced. Dimensions of the frame: 24 / 35 cm.
