Three Topoke African Sword Coins on Base

Three African iron currency blades or currency swords from the Topoke people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, beautifully presented on a base. These blades were used by various tribal groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a form of currency. They were used to conclude various important transactions, such as land deals or marriage proposals. The swords are decorated with a central ridge and incised grooves around the edge. A very beautiful and decorative set that fits perfectly in a modern or ancient environment. Beautiful patina and in very good condition.
