Refined tea or coffee service set in fine white porcelain, signed CH. Pillivuyt & Cie, Paris, bearing the red stamp of the 1900 Universal Exhibition (Grand Prix). The decoration is delicately adorned with small blue flowers and green foliage, hand-painted on a finely fluted base. The blue border highlighting the edges adds a touch of classic elegance. This service consists of 10 pieces: 1 teapot (height with lid: approx. 13 cm) 1 milk jug (height: approx. 12 cm) 4 straight cups (height: 6.5 cm; diameter: 6.5 cm) 4 matching saucers (diameter: 13 cm) Condition: very good overall condition for an antique service. The interior of the teapot shows signs of use (see photo), but no chips or cracks have been observed. The enamel is well preserved, the decorations remain clean and shiny. Period: circa 1900, Belle Époque period. Manufacturer: CH. Pillivuyt & Cie, a house renowned for the quality of its French porcelain, founded in 1818 and still in business.
