Elegant fine porcelain breakfast service signed CH. Pillivuyt & Cie, Paris, stamped "Exposition 1900 Grand Prix" and "Mehun, France". The blue and green floral decoration, hand-painted on a fluted white background enhanced with a blue border, perfectly embodies the refinement of the Belle Époque. This set consists of: 1 large milk jug (height: approx. 19 cm) 4 coffee cups (height: 6.5 cm; diameter: 6.5 cm) 4 matching saucers (diameter: 14 cm) 4 egg cups (height: approx. 4.5 cm) The decoration is consistent across all the pieces, which testifies to careful and consistent production. The matching egg cups, rarely preserved, enrich this service in an original way. Condition: very good to excellent. No chips or cracks, glossy enamel, slight signs of use on the bases.
