High-end rugs, handcrafted. Created by the painter paulette née chez aubusson. She began her rug collection by turning some of her paintings into handmade rugs. She immediately moved towards high-end manufacturing, which remains an important principle today. Making my rugs in nepal, by a small group of companies in the center of kathmandu. Over time, she specialized in traditional, high-end hand-knotted rugs: hand-knotted rugs are the noblest. They are woven in an entirely artisanal way.
