This Readicut rug from the 1970s is the result of a rather crazy concept today: receiving a hand-painted canvas at home, the corresponding wool, and then making your own rug stitch by stitch. A form of DIY ahead of its time, blending domestic craftsmanship and fully embraced decoration. We love its burning shades of rust, caramel, deep black, incandescent yellow, and its floral pattern, in fusion, almost hypnotic, typical of the boldest seventies interiors. Its thickness is ultra-warm. It has an incredible presence on the floor. A piece full of warmth, somewhere between an English cottage and the decor of a Ken Russell film. The rug, although fifty years old, is in excellent condition. It has lost none of its colours or thickness. A miracle for this warm, graphic, and frankly unique piece. Length: 1.55 m. Width: 90 cm. Weight: 4 kg.
