Bronze wall sconce with a green opaline glass tulip in the Louis XVI style, from the 1900s. ● The arched arm, subtly balanced, is adorned with an engraved Greek frieze and extended by a decor of acanthus leaves treated with precision. ● The wall rosette, with a radiating pattern, structures the whole with rigor and gives the piece an architectural presence. ● It is topped with a moulded opaline glass tulip featuring: The "Froufrou" technique: The work of the pinched and wavy border is clearly visible. On period pieces, this work was done by hand on molten glass, which explains the slight asymmetries that give the object its charm. Satin Glass (Frosted): The "diamond point" or crosshatch texture is very precise. It not only decorates but also fragments the light to avoid glare while maintaining great brightness. The whole forms a refined decorative piece, ideal for a Haussmannian interior, a collection decor, or a demanding interior architecture project. In very good condition. Glass in perfect condition, without any accidents. Functional electrification. Dimensions: P 26 cm X H 20 X W 16 cm.
