Art Nouveau Wall Sconce: French Metal, Opaline Rose Shade, C1950s

Beautiful large French patinated metal Art Nouveau wall sconce with opaline rose pink shade C1950s. Comes mounted on a piece of wood covered with burgundy red velvet, this could be removed easily if you prefer to hang it direct to the wall, with 2 screws (not included. The cable is original 2 core which would probably need changing if you wanted it to be electrified and the bulb holder is a standard B22 bayonet fitting. Condition is really good with minor scratches to the wall sconce arm and some tiny bubbles in the opaline shade, this is a vintage item and not new sourced from the seaside town of La Rochelle France.
