No. 728 armchairs, also known as cabaret bat chairs, by Josef Hoffmann for Wittmann from the Art Nouveau era of the early 1900s. Characteristic is the gently curved, horseshoe-shaped frame made of bent, dark-stained beech wood. The light, subtly patterned upholstery on the seat and backrest forms an attractive colour contrast. Carefully cleaned, this historic set of 2 is in good vintage condition.
