Mid-century high back armchairs by Edmund Homa, GFM, Poland, 1960s, set of

A pair of GFM-64 armchairs in a high-back version, designed by Edmund Homa and manufactured at the Gościcińska Furniture Factory, Poland in the 1960s. The armchairs feature a solid beech frame with turned legs, beams under the seat, a beam supporting the backrest, and long, carefully profiled armrests. The ergonomic seat is covered with new white loop fabric. Edmund Homa also designed a footrest for the GFM-64 model with a high backrest, which may be available on request.
