Rare Large Pair of French Terracotta Urn Fruit Basket Double Wall Lights

A striking and rare large pair of French mid-century wall lights, beautifully crafted in terracotta and designed in the form of classical urns overflowing with fruit. Each sconce features a richly detailed basket motif at the top, adorned with sculpted fruit and foliage in relief, finished in warm earthy tones that enhance the depth and texture. The urn-shaped bodies are elegantly proportioned, with a fluted lower section and a gently aged patina that adds to their authentic vintage charm. Extending from each piece are two gracefully curved metal arms, each supporting a candle-style light fitting, creating a balanced and symmetrical double-light design. The lights are working with French twin core wiring and take 2 E14 screw-in bulbs each. In very good vintage condition with no cracks or visible chips. There are some light signs of age, including occasional tiny nibbles and gentle surface wear, which add to the authentic character and charm of the pieces without detracting from their beauty. The metal arms have some rust which adds to the character of the pieces. The candle drips are in good condition with minor wear.
