Beautiful pair of large wall sconces in the Louis XVI style, made in the second half of the 20th century. Crafted in bronze. Gilding in good condition. The wall parts are adorned with masks (mascarons) with male faces, topped with bows and accompanied by garlands of foliage. The arms of light feature a rich decoration of acanthus leaves, scrolls, and water leaves. A beautiful evocation of the decorative arts of the Louis XVI period, with its bows, garlands of foliage, and elegant classical-inspired ornaments. Excellent quality of chiseling, highlighting the numerous details of the decoration. Electricity installed and tested, with new wires (for E14 bulbs). Plastic faux candles, in very good condition.
