Baluster vase on a pedestal with flared neck in earthenware "Keller et Guérin Lunéville / St Clément" Collection "Blue Anemone" Typical of the 1950s/1970s. This collection is a variant in terms of colours and patterns compared to the classic collection (Fin Lantern) that made the Lunéville factory world-renowned (However, the "floral" motif remains present). The typology of the cursive signature "Lunéville France" indicates a dating from the 1970s. Height: 23 cm. Diameter at the neck approximately 11.5 cm. Diameter of the base: 9.9 cm. The vase is in superb condition, despite its half-century of existence! Very careful shipping! A bit of history: Founded in 1730, the Lunéville factory is one of the most famous manufacturers of earthenware in the 18th and 19th centuries. The reason is simple: all the raw materials necessary for its production are already available on site (wood for the kilns, clay/kaolin for the paste). In 1892, the faïenceries of Keller and Gerin and Saint Clément merged and then dominated the French market (the faïencerie notably worked with the greatest artists of the time such as Emile Gallé, Richard Micque, and Paul Louis Cyfflé). Its reputation is worldwide!.
