Small Napoleon III sofa in golden velvet

PRICE NON-NEGOTIABLE PAYMENT AND DELIVERY VIA SELENCY This superb antique sofa in the Napoleon III style, dressed in a magnificent golden velvet with warm reflections, invites you to slow down. With its enveloping lines, generous armrests, trimmings, and a family home feel, it possesses that extra soul that contemporary furniture often struggles to imitate. It has undergone a recent upholstery renovation, combining the charm of the old with the pleasure of a comfortable seat. This antique sofa has been recently upholstered but is not new. It is covered in high-quality upholstery velvet, in a stunning golden hue, between ochre, caramel, and gilded bronze. A warm colour that wonderfully captures light and complements both classic interiors and more contemporary decorations. Its seat is firm and offers excellent support. The trimmings, particularly the long fringes that elegantly highlight its base, are in good condition. They add that theatrical, almost aristocratic touch that is particularly appreciated in 19th-century seating. The sofa rests on its original castors. The whole piece has been cleaned and is in good overall condition. However, there may still be some signs of age or use. This is a renovated antique piece, not a brand-new sofa straight from the factory. PRICE NON-NEGOTIABLE
