Magnificent meridian in Napoléon III style, completely reupholstered in coral-raspberry velvet and bordered with a burgundy bouillon fringe all around. Its silhouette is typical of the Second Empire: a high rounded backrest, rolled armrests, and a curved seat that opens on one side. It is very comfortable, both for reading and for lying down. The velvet has a beautiful depth of colour and a soft touch, and it captures light beautifully.
