Glazed Art Nouveau Majolica Vases Roses HTB 37cm

A beautiful set of two glazed polychrome vases with relief rose decorations, entirely in the classic Art Nouveau style, marked HTB on the bottom, dating from around 1900. Characteristics of the Art Nouveau style are the organic, flowing lines and floral motifs. The colors are pastel, with pink flowers on a light green, brown, and amber background. These vases are in relatively good antique condition, with signs of age and use consistent with their age and material. One vase is in perfect, undamaged condition. The other vase has no chips, but a very large hairline crack, 20cm long, along the back and two chips from the underside of the base. Check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 19x13x37cm each.
