We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage black lacquered desk, hand-painted in polychrome with birds and flowers. A very decorative piece in Chinese style. The birds and flowers are beautifully hand-painted with exceptionally durable polychrome paint. This desk provides a good-sized work surface and will fit into almost any decor with style, charm, and grace. The furniture has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. It is a vintage piece with various marks and scratches on the lacquer, which are difficult to see in the photos but are present. Dimensions: Height 78.5 cm, Width 138 cm, Depth 77.5 cm. Note that vintage and original pieces often have a natural patina with cracks, creases, and wear. Regular waxing is recommended to prevent moisture loss.
