Victorian Georgian style bureau, hand-painted circa 1860.

We are pleased to offer for sale this magnificent desk or side table in Georgian style, mid-Victorian circa 1860, hand-painted, made of pine with lovely claw feet and antique carved balls. The painted finish is original and polychrome, having lasted nearly 180 years. This piece can be used as a dressing table, small desk, central table, or hall table. The wood has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, elegantly patinated. Dimensions given are taken at the widest point. Please see the detailed photos for condition; minor wear and slight discolouration in keeping with age. Care should be taken with the leather and exposure to sunlight.
