Solid beechwood workbench, Louis XV style – Early 20th century

This charming solid beechwood workbench perfectly illustrates the refinement of the Louis XV style, revisited at the beginning of the 20th century with timeless elegance. Its top with an animated frame reveals itself as a flap dressed with a large mirror on the inside. It reveals a compartmentalized storage space, ideal for organizing small objects or precious accessories. A functional lock and key allow the flap to be closed. The apron of this workbench is animated, molded and richly carved with ornamentation: flowers, shells and foliage in relief.
