Mid-century Finnish Pulkka lounge chair set with ottomans by Ilmari Lappalainen for Asko.

Vintage armchair design with ottoman by the Finnish manufacturer Asko based on a design by Ilmari Lappalainen from the 1960s. Here in a rare colour and a special covering. A simple and functional design. It consists of two parts, the frame and the seat or reclining surface. The ergonomic seat is simply inserted into the frame. The inclination can thus be easily and manually adjusted to a reclined position. The frame of this pulkka is green enamelled. The light upholstery fabric has a coarse texture and is edged with bias binding.
