Solid walnut sideboard, Louis-Philippe style – 1900

Solid walnut sideboard made in the Louis-Philippe style, characterized by its shallow depth. Its top has slightly rounded front corners that soften its silhouette. It has two drawers in the belt, with molded fronts and finely chiseled bronze drop handles. The double mechanism lock system is functional and comes with its key. Below the drawers, two doors framed by moldings open onto a storage space with a shelf. The right-hand door is equipped with a working lock, also supplied with its key. The bottom of the sideboard is highlighted by an ogee plinth, and the whole rests on sabot feet at the front and straight feet at the back, providing stability and refinement. ********** Period: 1900 Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
