Chest of drawers from the late 1800s in solid cherry wood.

Commode dating from the late 1800s in solid cherry wood. Recovered and restored in 1978. As you can see in the photos, there is woodworm damage on the legs and also on the top. You can also see that the internal locking mechanism is rusty. There is a key, but it does not work. Unlike the photos, the metal elements are not white but rather bronze in colour. There is a hole at the back (see photo) because we had wires for a television. We had placed vinyl on the interior shelves, on the doors inside, as well as in the drawers.
