This low sideboard, dating from the mid-19th century (around 1850) and fitting into the Biedermeier style or bourgeois provincial cabinetry, consists of two doors and two drawers arranged side by side, resting on slightly tapered conical feet. The surface features a warm brown tone with a finish that highlights the natural texture of the raw material. The decorative details are distinguished by drawer profiles, door frames, and vertical posts adorned with geometric mouldings repeated in dentils or chains, crafted with artisanal care. Additionally, the panels of the doors are rhythmically accented vertically by moulded strips, adding three-dimensionality to the façade, while the hardware includes small central metal knobs on the drawers as well as a lock applied to the left door.
