Grey leather armchair pen club steiner designed in 1970

Armchair / lounge chair Pen Club, model designed by Kwok Hoï Chan for Steiner Paris. Steiner reissue (model relaunched in 2010). Grey leather upholstery, polished stainless steel frame. The Pen Club was designed in 1969, the year Kwok Hoï Chan also signed the Zen and Limande models. The principle has remained the same since: a fine, visible metal structure, onto which a generous seat filled with high-resilience foam and feathers is placed. A very enveloping, almost informal comfort that contrasts with the rigidity of the base. Advantages of the reissue: European manufacturing, stainless steel structure that does not rust, foams with current densities (backrest 60 + 35 kg/m³, seat 40 kg/m³), crossed elastic straps on solid beech frame. Comfort and stability of a contemporary piece of furniture, original design intact. Condition: soft grey leather, without tears or cracks. Structure without scratches. Firm seat, no sagging. Dimensions: L 90 X D 78 X H 68 cm. Ideal for vintage interiors, mid-century, lofts or executive offices. Matches with Knoll, Cassina, Le Corbusier LC3, Airborne, Roche Bobois.
