Danish Rosewood Modular Wall Shelving system, Preben Sørensen for PS System, Randers, 1970s. This Danish rosewood wall shelving system was designed by Preben Sørensen and manufactured by PS System in Randers in Denamrk most likely in the 1970s. It is a fully modular system with interchangeable elements that can be freely arranged to suit your space and needs. The set includes a console and shelves that offer ample space for storing and displaying books and decorative objects. The most striking feature of this piece is the rich, expressive grain of the rosewood, which beautifully contrasts with its clean, minimalist lines and adds an elegant mid-century character to any interior. Inside the drawer of the console, the original PS System manufacturer’s label has been preserved, confirming the authenticity of the piece. 1 console. 9 shelves – depth 20 cm. 1 shelf – depth 30 cm. 4 vertical supports H; Brass hangers. All elements can be freely exchanged and arranged using a simple slot system in the rails. The configuration shown in the photos is only an example. The unit has been fully restored by our team. The wood has been cleaned and refinished with new satin lacquer, the brass hangers have been polished, and all elements have been carefully checked.The old bent and broken brass screws have been exchanged for the new onee. Everything fits together well. Minor signs of age remain; they do not detract from the aesthetics and only confirm the authenticity of this vintage piece. We always aim to restore furniture to its best possible condition while respecting its original character.
